Ensuring soil health involves many stakeholders, and all can be served by digital platforms as an interface to data and models to support their work. This roundtable aims to congregate the broad spectrum of practice to compare notes: who is doing what, which resources and data are actually being used (or are missing), and where digital tools for soil health currently help or fall short.
In small rotating groups, participants will work through a shared set of questions before regrouping to share insights across the whole room. The session is timely, as the EU Soil Monitoring and Resilience Directive itself calls for continued digitalization and availability of soil health information through digital portals. This session is a chance to help inform the soil health portals for the PHISHES and SOILPROM projects, grounded in the real experiences of the people who will benefit from them.
Who should join: Anyone working on soil health in any capacity: technical or political, strategic or hands-on, research-based or applied-focus. The value of this session comes from mixing perspectives, so all backgrounds are very welcome.
